About Bret Cartwright

Based in Draper, Utah, Bret Cartwright is a self-employed day trader who has focused on the forex market for more than 15 years. He trades a broad spectrum of global currency markets as well as commodities that include silver, gold, natural gas, and oil. Maintaining the Youtube channel “forexslayer," Bret Cartwright emphasizes a pending order strategy that has earned him a reputation as the “set it and forget it guy.”

Since 2014, Mr. Cartwright has augmented his primary trading activities with a consulting role as executive forex coach at Day Trade University. He provides online clients with training that spans all levels, from basic knowledge to advanced trading techniques. Bret Cartwright also facilitates seminars and symposiums at the firm’s offices that focus on specific elements of the trading process.

Having excelled in tennis while in high school, Mr. Cartwright graduated from Utah Valley State College with an associate’s degree in business management. He enjoys activities such as waterskiing and wakeboarding at Lake Powell in his free time.
